Know-how for SAS

By virtue of our long-standing partnership with SAS Institute and our varied deployment of the SAS-Software for our customers, we have acquired here a particularly wide and in-depth know-how that we are continuously developing. That involves certification, collaboration in training and an intensive exchange of technologies and applications with SAS Institute.

To learn more about our multi-faceted services, please see our Services for SAS Software.

Core technologies of the SAS Software

The core technologies of SAS comprise of

• the extensive scripting language „SAS Language“, including the statistical procedures and functions,
• the SAS own database (SAS Datasets),
• an engine concept for access to diverse data formats,
• the „Multi Vendor Architecture“, that is the operating system and platform independent common architecture,
• Server and accessory interfaces for various purposes (SAS Integration Technologies).

SAS Business Analytics Platform

The SAS Intelligence Platform makes it possible to amalgamate, manage and evaluate data throughout the company. The core comprises the SAS Open Metadata Architecture for the consistent and uniform storage of metadata for the various application areas. Around this a number of applications are grouped for data integration, for the retrieval of reports and for the buildup of structures for forecast models. In this process, the various user roles in the company are taken into account - from IT Administrator through the Business Analysts right up to the executive board.

Application oriented Solutions

A third, application oriented layer of the SAS Software supplies solutions for different business (for example, marketing) or industry specific (for example, development of medication) issues. These comprise in each case of specific data models, application structures and analysis modules, and build upon the core technologies and applications of the SAS Business Analytics Framework.
