Project Management Know-how – Organizing Teamwork

Each assignment, no matter whether large or small, simple or complex, is effectively a contractual agreement with the customer. Our Project leaders ensure that this agreement with regard to requirements, quality and deadlines is kept, and in the process mediate between the different interests of the customer, the company and the team members. A variety of totally different skills are required:

 

  • Communication: Appraising colleagues, allocating tasks, managing conflicts, delivering reports.
  • Planning: Estimating costs, planning milestones, keeping a track of time and budget.
  • Procurement: Collaboration with the customer’s project leader, with our marketing and sales and accounting.

 

It is part of our policy that our project leaders are qualified as software engineers and also work as such, therefore knowing the mode of operation in projects very well.

During regular internal meetings, our project leaders exchange ideas, present their experiences and in so doing, develop their capabilities further.  Training courses at renowned academies keep their knowledge on the cutting-edge.

For the project management, we have established, with considerable effort, our own IT systems for project and capacity planning, tracking and billing of projects.
