A global pharmaceutical company faced the challenge of providing employees from various departments with efficient access to internal documents. Existing systems lacked the ability to filter and personalize search results based on individual roles, departments, or areas of responsibility. As a result, employees had to manually compile relevant information from numerous sources - a time-consuming process that often led to incomplete or outdated results.
There was a clear need for a solution that offered role-based access combined with context-aware, accurate answers.
The HMS Solution: AI-Powered Document Management with Agentic AI
HMS developed a context-aware chatbot powered by Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and guided by an Agentic AI architecture. The solution combines role-based access control (RBAC) with dynamic orchestration of search processes, enabling users to search for information in a targeted way and receive context-specific answers - individually tailored to their role and organizational affiliation.
